Description: Ten Bay Area artists interpret the theme, "Words." Using paper, acrylic, glass, pencil, mixed media and print they explore the literal and unspoken meaning of the printed and written word. inspired by words from literature, poetry, the Bible, the Hebrew alphabet and familiar quotations the artists capture either the spirit of the written word or the graphic quality of the mark. This thought provoking exhibit opens Nov. 13, 2009 with an artist's reception from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The exhibit closes on Dec. 26, 2009. Gallery hours are Noon - 5:30 PM, Thursday - Saturday and Wednesday by appointment. The gallery is located at 7025 Stockton Ave. in el Cerrito.
