Tradeway sale Aug. 25-27 benefits scholarship fund
On Tuesday August 25th, Wednesday August 26th, and Thursday August 27th, the City of El Cerrito is holding a Final Warehouse Liquidation Fundraiser Sale at the Tradeway Furniture Building on San Pablo Ave from noon to 5:00 p.m. only.
This is a close-out sale with prices slashed to $15-$20 for wooden dining tables and bed frames. Most tables are unassembled and buyers have the opportunity to “mix and match” their own table tops and legs. Hutches, framed mirrors, glass tabletops, furniture hardware, wood finials, a vintage Hall’s safe (late 1800s), and bric-a-brac will also be for sale.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the David Hunter Memorial Scholarship Fund, which helps youth who otherwise would not be able to afford to participate in recreational and educational programs offered by the City of El Cerrito Recreation Department.
“Frequently, the people who need to utilize our programs the most are the ones who can least afford to do so, and this sale is a wonderful opportunity for us to raise some money for this important cause,” explained Monica Kortz, El Cerrito’s Recreations Director.
The sale will be held at the Tradeway Furniture Building, 10860 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito CA 94530. All sales are “as-is” and final. Call the El Cerrito Recreation Department at (510) 559-7000 for more details.
